So let me get this straight.
You’re down by 3 with about 2:50 left in the game. Your star QB, who’s known for his running more than his passing, may have a hamstring pull and definitely has a leg cramp of some sort. So instead of putting in your backup, you work out your star’s leg cramp and get him back out there.
Then, on third down, he’s got a clear path to run for a first down, but he pulls up because of his injury, and as a result, he gets sacked. Now it’s fourth and long with the game on the line.
And you put the backup back into the game NOW!?!??
Jim Mora, Jr. is going to get a beating on Atlanta sports talk radio for that call. Pick your QB and stay with him, dude.
