Bills RB Travis Henry is exploring a trade. So is Broncos RB Reuben Droughns. Bears RB Anthony Thomas will be a free agent this offseason, as will Derrick Blaylock of the Chiefs and Shaun “I was stabbed in the back” Alexander of the Seahawks. Bengals RB Rudi Johnson may become a free agent as well, though I suspect Cincinnati will do everything possible to keep him around.
Bottom line: with all these backs out there on the market, why would anyone bother drafting Maurice Clarett?
