Halftime: Colts 35, Bengals 27

kay, seriously, these numbers are just sick.

Peyton Manning: 16-for-23, 272 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT when he stepped on one of his linemen and stumbled as he threw. The Bengals scored a TD off that play. Before that, the Colts scored 5 TDs on 5 drives.

Carson Palmer: 11-for-16, 162 yards and 1 TD. He’s getting more help from the running game, as Rudy Johnson has 59 yards and 2 TDs, while Chris Perry has 51 yards on only 3 carries. Edgerrin James only has 29 yards, and I’m sure he campaigned long and loud in the locker room for more carries.

Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark both have more than 100 yards and a TD for the Colts. Chad Johnson is living up to his guarantee, though, with 98 yards and a TD on three catches.

This doesn’t make me feel so bad for falling asleep on the couch last night while watching the USC-Fresno State game. I wonder if the final score will look like an Arena Football game.

In other game news, Bonnie Bernstein looks entirely too pink on that sideline…
