Is it just me, or is Atlanta Falcons’ center Todd McClure telling the opposing defense exactly when he’s going to snap the ball?
Watch him when he snaps next time. He moves his head from right to left, then snaps the ball to Michael Vick. The timing of this motion is the same just about every time. If I were a defender watching that, I would know exactly when to take off on a blitz by the second quarter.
Now, if McClure uses this to lull a defense to sleep and eventually draw them offsides, that’s one thing. This motion, though, seems like it would be a hinderance to the Falcons in the long term.
