If you think that being a Steelers and Panthers fan yesterday was bad — and let me tell ya, it was bad — try being an Eagles fan today.
After dropping to 4-6 and falling off the face of the playoff race, the Philadelphia Eagles have announced that QB Donovan McNabb and CB Lito Sheppard are both having season-ending surgeries. McNabb will listen to the doctors and have hernia surgery, while Sheppard needs surgery on an ankle that sprained when he got tangled up with Plaxico Burress in coverage.
Not that any of this will stop ESPN from spending the first ten minutes of every SportsCenter talking about Terrell Owens. It makes me wish that Tom Benson would go insane and start shooting the Saints’ coaching staff, just so ESPN would have something else — anything else — to talk about…
