4th Q, 13:38 left: Steelers 21, Bears 9

If I could see this game in HD right now, I couldn’t see this game. Snow’s falling hard in Pittsburgh, and it’s making a mess of the field and of the game. Groundskeepers came out with snowblowers during the break to clear the yard lines. With a 2-score lead, that benefits the Steelers, who are running well with both Willie Parker and Jerome Bettis.

Kyle Orton, however, came up big at the start of the 4th, throwing a couple of surprisingly good passes — even more surprising, considering the weather out there — and setting up a Thomas Jones TD. The extra point attempt, however, bounced off the upright. It’s probably not a good thing to rely on the kicking game right now.

Pittsburgh needs to avoid letting Orton do that again. If they can do that and avoid turnovers on offense, they should hold on for the W. We’ll see…
