Continuing on the running game thread…

Adam Schefter:

Every season, teams get better or worse, but one thing never changes — running the football is the key to victory.

Heading into Monday night’s two games, there were 12 100-yard rushers in the season’s first two weeks, including five in the second week of the season. And in those games, those 12 100-yard rushers were 12-0.

Steelers RB Willie Parker has had two 100-yard games in two tries so far this season and is second in the league in rushing yards. In first place? Tampa Bay rookie Carnell “Cadillac” Williams, who has 276 rushing yards thus far and leads Parker by 12 feet.

The Buccanneers are the only undefeated team in the AFC South right now, too. Granted, it’s early in the season yet, but who would have seen that coming?
